If you loved the second half of Death Note but wish you could experience it all in one sitting, Death Note Relight 2: L's Successors is here to help. This 2008/2009 TV special serves as a condensed recap of episodes 27 through 37 of the original anime, with some additional material tacked on for good measure. It picks up right where L dies, focusing on Near and Mello's attempts to solve the Kira case in their own, very different ways, all while Light Yagami continues to fatten up his god complex from the shadows.
